Be Wary of the Chain Drive!!!
We were very disappointed with this product. From the first ride, every single time my six year old son would ride this vehicle, the chain would come off the sprocket. In order for it to work again, I have to disassemble the housing around the front wheel, reset the chain and reassemble the rider. Immediately upon use though, the chain would again come off the sprocket and again need to be reset before it could be used. After disassembling and reassembling the toy several times, and hunting for fixes online (there are none) I simply gave up. Oh, and there is only a 90 day warranty, so by the time I got around to attempting to make a warranty claim, the toy was already out of warranty. Very frustrating outcome for what should have been a stellar christmas gift.
Don't Waste Your Money!
This thing is fun for my son - the few minutes it works! But it likes to stop unexpectedly (after being fully charged), and the wheel gets stuck. It's been more of a pain than anything. Contacted Razor directly and we are trying to get a refund. Very disappointed. I'd expect a $150 "toy" to work well, and for longer than a few minutes at a time.
Doesn't last and poor customer service.
I bought two of these for my 5 & 7 year old kids. They lasted about three months and now do not work. I called Razor and, after some troubleshooting, they said that the batteries needed to be replaced. It would take five weeks for them to send me replacements as they were out of stock. Nevermind that Amazon.com and countless other sites had the same spec battery in stock. I bought them to replace at my own cost as the kids wanted to ride their Power Riders.They still do not work and Razor customer service is at a loss. If you want to spend $150 for an item that works for three months then go for it. Otherwise stay away from this product and the horrid customer support that Razor provides.
Not a good choice
I have went through 4 of these in 2 months, and all of them the front wheel locked up while my child was riding it and could not fix it. My kid only rode it for 5 mins and this happened. Not happy with this purchase so i asked for a refund.
Razor products are the worst
This is a terrible product!! My mother purchased this for my son for his birthday and it did not work from the beginning. I called Razor (big mistake) they said the battery was broken they sent me a new one....it took 10 days. When I finally received the battery, it didn't fit. Thank God I bought the product through Amazon and they were kind enough to let me return it. Because trust me Razor was not helpful in any regard what so ever!!!! I will never purchase another Razor product and I will discourage others from purchasing them as well
Bad Quality Product and offered Insurance sucks
This is useless product with very inferior quality. Bought a warranty plan which is equally useless as when you call them with issue, they troubleshoot with you while on phone. they don't recommend any shop for repair etc. you end up fixing it yourself. To be more specific about quality. The chain keeps on falling off and does not hook up anymore after i pulled it few times. its hassle to open the front panel and hook up chain all the time.

Ordered 2 for twins birthday party. Once worked great - the other had a defective battery which really took away from the fun for the event. Following Monday spent 45 minutes on phone explaining systems only for their "Great" customer service to say they will ship out a new battery as replacement in "10 business days". Inquired about quicker shipment and they said "not an option". Now that's great customer service!

My sister has 2 of these that work great! We just bought one and from the first charge (which I over saw) we didn't get hardly any time before the battery wore out. I have bought and properly used many of the Razor battery charged products and never had such a bad experience. This new Rider just sits in the corner while my kids use all our other battery ride-on's - including 3 other Razor products.
Stopped working after 7 months!
Bought two of these for my kids for Christmas, 7 months ago. The kids loved them and have used them quite a bit ever since. Unfortunately, a few days ago one stopped working. will charge and light comes on, but the button that causes the bike to go doesn't do anything. Very disappointed that we only got 7 months of use out of it. Thought I would contact Razor, but the warranty is ONLY 90 DAYS. I thought for sure it would be 12 months, but only 90 Days is very disappointing for a major manufacturer like Razor.
Super fun but already falling apart at 5 months old
Bought this for our 7 year old Christmas 2016. We are 5 months down the road and the battery powered moter keeps coming undone (coming un-screwed and screws stripped on their own) which then disables the razor from working. We used some other screws we had to fix the problem and that lasted all but 2 weeks. Now it's starting to slowly undo again because you can hear it starting to rattle. This is not good quality for the price you pay. It is only ridden on smooth concrete, so, not sure why this is happening. With that said, this Is a very fun thing to ride. All the kids love it that come over. It just has its flaws like everything else.
